Based in Henderson, the Learning & Development Advisor will be responsible for coordinating the design, implementation and evaluation of learning and development initiatives to build workforce capability and support Austal’s goals.

What’s Involved
- Support the delivery of L&D programs that build workforce capability and performance.
- Maintain and govern the organisation’s Competency Management Framework.
- Design and support capability frameworks, curriculum, and learning pathways.
- Defining and facilitating workforce development processes aligned to competency standards and support deployment of professional development plans.
- Coordinate development programs and provide guidance on learning best practice.
- Deliver blended learning solutions and maintain eLearning content as required.
- Coordinate organisational development projects end to end, including needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Build, update and maintain eLearning modules using Articulate 360, Storyline or similar platforms.
You'll Need
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and evidence based practice.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify information and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse workforce data and translate insights into practical actions.
- Skilled in designing and delivering learning solutions aligned to capability needs.
- Proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated working style and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Flexible aptitude to embrace change, learn new systems quickly, and look for ways to improve.
